Edit - Kypreos is also saying he's heard that there are 2 factions in Jersey. One he calls the "analytical group" and the other group, where the analytical group is suggesting that the Devils can be good without Markstrom vs the GM and the other side who are pushing for Markstrom.

Interesting part is it's likely that Green really likes Markstrom, and Brodeur really likes Markstrom, and if the GM is on Markstrom's side...
And if I'm not mistaken even analytics support that Markstrom would be a great fit for New Jersey, so it's more analytics probably doesn't want to spend the money/assets for a goalie.
I have a feeling the owner is going to lean towards getting the goalie here.
