Well said. Considering the other bodies that have left the room this season, why start worrying about chemistry right now? Damage is done. I would suggest that there might be better chemistry with another young guy brought up who is going to need to bond with his teammates going forward.

You're right. It's about winning next year, and the year after, and the year after that. This is all about the future and Markstrom is clearly not part of that future. Better to move on from a player when their value is at a height not seen in recent years and take advantage of a team willing to overpay than sit on that asset and watch opportunity go by. Get a good haul for a guy who is clearly not in the plan.
