Groundbreaking Canadian jazz musician Elanor Collins passed away at age 104.





She was the first black artist to have her own national TV series, as well as the first women in Canada to host one.

I think she had a really great voice. I won't pretend that I am well informed on the Jazz singer scene, I have a lot of respect for people who break barriers like she did.
