To be fair. The Oilers played an afternoon game and were finished 6 hours before the Penguins were. So unless the flight from Seattle is 6 hours longer than the flight from Edmonton, any tired "advantage" would still be there.
It is pretty humourous how the Oilers have now played 5 back to backs on the season. 2 of them at home, 2 of them in the same road city, and now 1 that is like a day and a half of rest. Narrative or not that is a hell of lucky break. Something they're all too familiar with up there.
