I was kind of wondering about how ready Israel was for this war, and the way that it is playing out. Granted, they are always in a state of readiness because of the constant threat of the muslim nations, but there seems to be a playbook at work here.

I know I was stunned when I heard the numbers of children in Gaza compared to adults. At first it sounded like "we are all children under God", but it really was people under 18.

A doubling of a hostile population in under a generation must have been noticed. What happens in another 20 years, or beyond, when the population of Gaza is bursting at the seams, and exceed Isreal?

I wouldn't doubt that the bombing of infrastructure is too eventually move Gaza toward another border, away from Israel proper. It wouldn't surprise me if Gaza moves to buffer Syria or something, with the full support of a suddenly repentive Israel.
