Actually he was never told he was contagious before he left. Neither was his fiance or her 8 year old daughter who were never told by the CDC or any doctors that they needed to take any precautions. It wasn't until he was already out of the US that the CDC decided he could be contagious. His smears are negative, he has no symptoms and the people he has close contact with on a daily basis are all negative for TB.

He was told before he left USA that he had TB......he was also advised NOT to fly. They didn't say he couldn't but they advised him NOT to. He knows that effects of TB and how contagious it can be. His father in law is a specialist in TB and by his father in laws own admission, he gave hime some "fatherly advise".
The least he could have done was put a blinken mask on his face before boarding the plane. Is that to fricken hard to ask?
Unbelievable that you would actually stick of for this guy. Yes it is unfortunate, but there were MANY more option he could have taken besides the one he choose.
