Yeah. The Flames brass are just doing their jobs as best they can, and that's the nature of trade negotiations in this business.. things fall apart and come together quickly. How many times do players themselves say it.. that's just the business. But suddenly it's shocking when the business side does business things and a deal falls though because it involves you?
It's not like they broke into his house and pied him in the middle of the night. They just tried to make a trade and had to involve you because of the NMC/NTC, and it fell through. Them's the breaks.
