Agreed. A high school diploma is a minimum requirement and should hardly qualify as an accomplishment at all. Unfortunately the bachelor's degree is going the same route, it's value is rapidly diminishing as well, and the argument of continuing education (PHD, Masters, Grad Studies) are simply impractical for most applications in life.
Experience doing what you want to be doing is what seperates people.
