Overrated: Just a Highschool Diploma
Underrated: The Importance of a Postsecondary Education
Okay let me explain this one, how many of us continuously say 'it's very important to have a highschool diploma' ?? I'm guessing majority of us, what I dont understand is why a highschool diploma? Why don't we emphasise the importance on a Degree??? I believe a highschool diploma will only get you so far, why limit yourself when you can preach a postsecondary education? Is it because it's the easiest to aim at? the cost of a postsecondary education? Do we really believe that the best we (our children) can do is just a highschool diploma? I know I know before University/College comes a highschool diploma but we need to stop focusing on JUST A HIGHSCHOOL DIPLOMA.
