Conroy has been in a hell of a lot more NHL dressing rooms than I have (and anyone on here for that matter) so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Just because he isn't stripping the team to the bare bones doesn't mean that he is making a mistake. I've liked what he has done so far and he really seems to have a handle on where players are at and what is needed in the room for now and in the future.
It's going to get really tiring seeing the "he isn't rebuilding the exact way I would rebuild" posts on here. He walked into a mess and has been the GM for not even a full season yet. I'm glad he is willing to listen to offers on Markstrom but I'm also glad he is balancing that by noticing what Markstrom is in the room and needing a sufficient offer to move him. Not a single poster knows for sure what the offer was for him but there sure has been a lot of assumptions.
