On the surface giving one team a A+ and the other a D for literally splitting the goal posts between what all the media outlets had as the goal posts on the deal is beyond stupid.
Dallas standpoint: Offered a 2nd, Flames wanted a 1st. Paid 2nd and a prospect and a maybe.
Calgary standpoint: Wanted a 1st, had 2nd pick offers. Received a 2nd plus a prospect plus a maybe.
Some pretty silly thinking on those grades.
