In this case there’s at least a 65% chance we got nothing anyways with that return. A late 2nd, a late 3rd in a future draft and a completely unproven former second round pick don’t have the greatest odds of even producing an NHL regular.

So yeah, you could do nothing and possibly have the exact same outcome on the ice except you establish a reputation
