It wouldn't be a trade that happens now, and more of an offseason trade.
And it really depends on contract status once discussions on re-signing open up for the Florida players. Contract status is such an important part of these trades in today's NHL.
All of Bennett, Verhaeghe, and Ekblad are UFAs after next season and will be 28 or older, and Brady had 4 years at a very affordable $8.2M for the 4 years after this one and is only 24.
The 1st is probably too much but something around those UFAs and B.Tkachuk could be very interesting. I think most would have said Huberdeau, Weegar, 1st for Tkachuk was too much at that time too though.
It's why it's mimicking the structure of the Matthew Tkachuk trade completely, you had Huberdeau and Weegar as pending UFAs, Florida didn't love their asks, so they turned them into a single player they could lock up at a rate they liked.
Similar scenario here.
