But in Conroy’s defence. The flip side to how well they are playing is how terrible they were at the start of the season and how many times they didn’t show up against teams they should have easily beat.
Guess we’ll see what ultimately happens. But this year will be a shame if they miss the playoffs again and get gutted. Looks like it might be a turning point though too. Maybe the silver lining.

That could be partly attributed to the fact that there are some players that just wasn't giving an effort and holding the team back. I'm talking about the ones we've traded or are no longer here.. Lindholm's lack of effort, Dube, Adam. When you got one or several guys not giving an effort it affects the whole line/s Walker was another one but I think sending him down for a stint might have woken him up. I think the big difference between the beginning of the season and now is the fact that we don't have those guys on the team; And we've strengthened our defense.
The Flames have had a history of having too many players that were passengers or played when they felt like it.
