It does seem weird that they have been so quiet in rumors.
If there was a team that could make a surprise trade for one of our forwards I could see it being them.
If there was a team that I think would value Andrew Mangiapane and could be open to moving for him it would be them.
They have Miles Wood, Drouin, and Macdermid as their 2nd - 4th line LWs right now and none of that seems ideal (Landeskog and Nichuskin both out).
Mangiapane feels like a very similar acquisition to Lehkonen and feel like the Avalanche could like that for sure. They really could use some help on the wing right now too.
