We can argue Tanev > Chiarot, but at the same time in recent years Chiarot is probably the best comparable - that then poses the question of what is Holloway worth? If we were to look back at Curtis Lazar as a comparable then that’s a 2nd round pick, is that a fair comparison?
1st + Holloway = 1st + 2nd in my eyes, and I don’t think Tanev holds that sort of value - even with an in-province premium attached.

It’s trading the top target of virtually every trade board to your most hated rival. The premium for that needs to be even more than Holloway IMO. I would be disappointed if Conroy made that trade. Would rather give Tanev to another team for a 2nd round pick + B-level prospect.
