What the debate was if the Canadian RCMP VIP team and the Canadian motorcade is transported ahead of the PM in a larger military transport plane?? I don't recall seeing a lot of videos or news about a large motorcade being transported all over Canada for domestic use along with his security detail. Considering how many cars are in the motorcade, I would assume it would be a 747 or Globemaster transport plane?
Any insight in your experience at the airport how it works with the motorcade/security detail?

I can't recall ever seeing a RCAF C-17 or other aircraft bringing in motorcade vehicles to YYC for a PM visit. Not sure what they do in smaller centres, perhaps they drive them out ahead of time?
Definitely nothing like the US President, where you do get loads of vehicles dropped off by C-17's and C-5's prior to the visit. I remember that when we hosted the G8 years ago.
