I have a question for you, if the game is 7-1 for Vancouver while playing against calgary(49-7 in football score) and theres 3:41 left in the 3rd and Vancouver goes all out and scores 2 more goals in the game even though 7 goals in 3 minutes is immpossible wouldn't you say thats a bit classless? when teams are up 3-1 with that much time left they don't try to sour the wounds of the other team, so why is it any different in the NFL or when the holy Peyton Manning is throwing TD's left and right?

The game at the end of the 3rd Quarter was 35-17 (or 5-2 1/2 in hockey terms).....Denver had just outscored the Colts 14-0 in the 3rd.
3 minutes into the 4th...Manning throws a 6 yard pass to Wayne who then busts it for a 43 yd TD. What was Wayne supposed to do? NOT score? NOT run? Its what they do man...they train their entire lives to do this stuff.
The last TD WAS a run by the backup running back...again...was he supposed to NOT score?
This was in no way, shape or form running up the score. It was doing what the team has trained and practiced to do all year.
Just because this is the most potent offense since the 99 Rams, and they are on a roll like a well oiled machine....doesnt mean they should sit back and relax. They start doing that....you start forming bad habits. It's football...no more no less.
Its like asking baseball players to NOT swing at pitches because they are up 4 or 5 runs. Makes NO sense.
As for the analogy of hockey....if Vancouver scores 3 late in the game to make it 10-1......so be it. What are they supposed to do? NOT shoot the puck??

It's not the fact that they score the TD (by the way I thought Reggie Waynes TD was an amazing example of blocking) It's that that was their main goal even though the game was in the bag, Like in hockey when a teams up by alot they still shot the puck is their number 1 goal to score, no it's more so just to waste time so the games over.
