CALGARY/AM770CHQR - Due to a gasoline tanker truck that has major leak, southbound Deerfoot Trail is closed at 17 Ave SE and traffic will be diverted east and west at that point.
The tanker ran over a large piece of wood on Deerfoot which resulted in a puncture in the tank.
This closure will be in effect until the clean-up is complete.
It is anticipated this will be cleaned up at approximately 6pm.
