Jack Thompson + Niko Huuhtanen + 2026 1st.

Jack Thompson is a 21 year old (2020 draft) close to NHL ready two-way defender that has top four potential.
32 points in 45 games in the AHL this year, which is second on his team.

Niko Huuhtanen is a 20 year old (2021 draft) 6"2 RHS power forward with top 9 potential.
D+1 year put up 37g/77pts in 65 games in WHL.
D+3 (this year) is at 17g/43pts in 47gp in SM-liiga.

2026 1st is true wildcard. Decent chance Lightning are tumbling down in 2 years.


Not the most initially overwhelming package but I never thought we would get an A prospect in a Hanifin deal.
