Yup - the Flames shouldn't be afraid of future 1st round picks, that tends to be how you get an extra top 10 pick because a team makes a decline they didn't see happening.
They already have 2 in 2024, and they have three more pieces they could hypothetically get a 1st for.
If they end up with something like 3 1sts in 2024, 2 1sts in 2025, and 2 1sts in 2026 that's not a bad thing. Gives a continuous pipeline of players on ELCs in to the organization which is how you build depth and strength over time.
