The price the Flames want for retention on Markstrom is Casey, the Devils want another asset back to include him. That is the only new thing I got that I haven't already said about Markstrom. Guys, we are 3 weeks out, teams are going to try to squeeze the new GM on the block still. I am not worried at all about returns on anyone at this point. In regards to Markstrom either someone will pony up or he will still be here and they can look at it again at the end of the year. In regards to Tanev they will get the right deal for him, there are enough teams in it that someone is going to panic and pay a 1st. I think someone probably heard Hanifin say playing in TB would be pretty nice and twisted that into that is where he wants to sign and FS ran with it. I think Hanifin is open to playing in multiple markets, not just TB. I am sure he isn't going to not sign with Boston for example. It is way too early to panic.
