Considering the haul we got for Lindholm and what Chariot cost just 2 seasons ago, a 1st should be the minimum received in a Tanev trade if the Flames are also retaining 50%. It's ridiculous to think otherwise, and I believe the reporters are just mouthpieces for teams that want to drive down the value of a player. "LeBrun heard." Yeah, well I hope he's okay with being wrong. I think Conroy has been very patient and has shown he won't cave to media pressure and will be rewarded a 1st and a prospect/low pick at minimum as a result. I think he will also do better if he chooses to trade a retained Markström.
It's currently a sellers market and the Flames hold the best pieces even after trading Lindholm. There's much to be excited about!
