Its weird, but I get the impression that Ovechkin is an intensely likable individual.
Right now, Ownership and Management seem to be on the page of:
"We won our Cup. Now get OV his record. Then we get back to work."
In the meantime, they dont really seem serious about competing. That being said, when you have insanely rich owners they can afford to treat their teams as Toys.
