I know people don't like Pronman, or at least many don't, but I think his tiering makes a lot of sense.
Goes something like this
Generational player
Bubble Generation/Elite NHL Player (this is how he classified Bedard)
Elite
All star
Top of the lineup
Bubble top and middle of the lineup
Middle of the lineup
Projected to play
Has a chance to play
To me that's a sensible way to tier. There should be VERY few generational players, and instead the term that should be used is franchise.
