IMO if anyone is waiting for Calgary to retain salary on any of these contracts it could take forever to get anything done as it ain't happening. All of the talked about players are on good value deals and are worth their current cap hits at todays rates. Expiring deals or not.
I believes things will start moving when the other teams come to terms with this.
