Either way its of benefit to be closer to the bottom of the pack. Especially in a draft year that isn't as strong as most.

The Flames already have a bottom 10 points percentage without doing that. It's a pretty weak argument to trade your trade chips for something less than the maximum return. Putting them in the press box might even make more sense.
