Yes there is a significant aspect to people getting worked up about criticizing Biden here on CP, and the US. The Republican's are a little more honest in that they feel Trump is their #1 guy to win the election. Right or wrong, his supporters are hard core supporters.

The Democrats are pretending that Biden is the A team, the top star, in his prime and tending upwards in terms of performance. Everybody who isn't a homer see's it but people are too polite to do anything about it.

If Trump loses, a lot of people on the Republican side will be happy to get rid of the problem in a lot of ways.

If Biden loses, people are going to wonder how on earth this happened.
