a couple responses:
-I already tried the doctor thing and there's no way I can miss that day of training. It's either I go or I'm canned. Calling in sick will get me canned as well.

-Job B offered me the job 2 days ago, and I already asked them to give me the last 2 days to decide between them and another offer at job C. I don't want to ask for that again, especially during training. They won't do that.
The only way I can make my current interview with job A is to ditch B, they won't allow me the time.

-Job A is a lot better then job B. I don't want to do anything to mess up my chances with job A. That's why I'm hesitant to even ask about rescheduling.
The guy doing the interview may only be in town for that 1 day, and he may be booked up the rest of the day. I want him to feel that I'm fully commited to and interested in the position and I'm worried asking for another time doesn't show that.

I think he'll understand that you really want the job, but that you've got to make sure you're not missing out on both. Asking isn't going to hurt, and if he says he can't reschdule, you still have the option to ditch the other job.
