Seems like the flames had a really solid 2023 draft. Suniev in particular I think could turn into a real stud A- level prospect if he keeps developing, being the 2nd best forward on a big NCAA program in his 18/19 year old season with his size and skillset, I don't want to jinx him but for me he could be trending towards Hobey Baker nominee territory by his junior year if he produces another 6-8 points a year the next two seasons and ends up being a 35-40 pt a year guy which isn't hard to envision.
Will also be interesting to Sergeev own the net at UConn next year... guy just seems to step up every season, it's a bit of a shame that Haider transferred in there this year and has been gifted the starter job despite not playing as well as him, but he'll get his chance.
Writeup on Jurmo was great to read as well for those of us not as familiar with him. He seems like he could really add some value as he learns his trade with that skillset and size. Be a great player to get over here under the flames coaching and get him into the ECHL next year to start working on his consistency.
