I did a little dive into this. Just keep, this answer will include AHL fodder, future considerations and all.
In 2013-14 when the Flames made 13 trades.
There is a three way tie for most trades 80/81, 98-99 08-09 when the Flames made
14 trades in a single season again
for reference we traded 3 times so far this season.
