Living up the hill in the 90s, Kensington was a great place to hang out as a kid: comic shop and hockey card store across the street, ice cream parlour, that old funky wooden toy store, of course Riley Park. My mom and friends' mom would be at one of the 37 coffee shops while we wandered around, or we'd head down there by ourselves.

Honestly, I wouldn't let my kids wander down there now. I don't like wandering around Kensington on off hours now.
