I'm guessing it's mostly to save some more cap-space. The move could also be a reaction to Pelletier going down yesterday. In case the Flames feel like they need a 4th line W instead. |
And/or good news on Pelletier as the Flames like to have an extra forward on hand. The Wranglers being in Calgary always obfuscates the thinking behind these moves.
