I used to date Darryl's tire mechanics Daughter. The word was that Sutter didn't enjoy being a GM as much as being a coach because communications would happen at every hour of the day.
Some GM would call you at 4 am on a Sunday because it was only 6 am for them on the East Coast. The other way, someone from LA would call you at midnight because it was only 11pm for them after a game.
