Pretty much this. Some fans just like violence and will randomly defend it when they think there's an opportunity.
I really felt we were making progress with this stuff for a while, but I guess with ultra-conservatism on the rise in general, this is to be expected.
Rielly was being a baby, just a perfect example of a ridiculously immature manchild, but somehow because he threw a tantrum that was violent it's something to defend for some people.
How about you try to actually do that hockey better.
