24 hour for now. They are trying to provoke the City into locking them out. Once locked out they can't come back until a deal is reached and that might be awhile. Both sides are at the same place on money yet they are both going to ride it out over the new shuttle buses. It's 1 day for now. I can see it being longer than the last one.
BTW - the next proposed one day strike is the Stampede Parade Day, providing they don't get locked out before that.
According to calgarytransit.com they are hiring! ... maybe replacement workers
