Since when has Calgary ever been union friendly? Most people downtown in the towers I work in I've talked to are PO'ed at the union (insert plural derogatory word of choice) as suddenly their ability to work is compromised. And it's not "their alderman" they'll be directing their venom at....not in this town.

Which begs the question, with the scarcity of employees right now, if transit workers are worried about a few bucks, why not switch employers? With the union warning this could be a long strike, I suspect ATU membership will do just that.

Given your general tone in this thread, lets clear things up - are you union? ATU?
