Can't see the Flames asking price changing too much in the summer (only difference is half a season of salary retention), and would make little-to-no sense for a team like the Devils to give up on this season just to wait until the summer to basically pay the same price vs paying it now and having Markstrom for a full playoff run (2 vs 3 playoff runs).
Would make more sense for a team like the Avs who would love Markstrom but still have the talent to potentially win it all despite a mediocre goalie.
Guessing/hoping somebody pays up for him before the deadline. Get it done Conny
