I wouldn't have thought salary retention would be thing with a Markstrom trade to NJ. Likely taking a warm body back and don't they have +/-$1.7 million in cap space? After game 56 or 57 I believe he fits in correct?
I think with Markstroms history and current play there is no question hes more than likely a top 10 or 12 goaltender in the league, $6 million per is a decent deal now looking at some recent signings isn't it?
