Less choice than ever?
I've browsed the top 20 of the new rock stations and there are a large number of artists that never would have been heard 6 months ago...including several Alberta artists that are not ahem..Nickelback.

I agree CanCon is a problem and I believe both of these stations have agreed to play 40%, which is way too much, but what does this have to do with Nickelback? Nickelback is huge in the states as are Three Days Grace and now Finger Eleven...they are going to get played no matter what. The fact is both of stations are bringing variety to the Calgary airwaves that was not there 6 months ago.
