I haven't had any first person experiences, at least not really.
My mother died of cancer when I was 18, and I get the odd little thing once and a while, but nothing that leaves me sure of anything. She had a plant that she brought back to life. When my dad moved he gave it to me and I've kept it alive. The thing is ugly as hell, but has great sentimental value.
When my daughter was born we sort of named her after my mother. When we brought her home from the hospital this plant bloomed a flower for the first time in 14 years.
Proof?
No way ... but kind of cool.
I do know a first hander that is about as iron clad as they come however.
