Given his age, Biden should have been considered a 1-term President from day 1 and there should have been at least some attempt at building a succession plan over the last 3 years. Maybe it wouldn't have worked, or maybe Biden would have remained popular, in which case you give him another shot. But they did nothing and now they have a declining 81 year old with a 40% approval rating, a useless VP with a 35% approval rating, and basically no indication that they're going to change their path.
Even the special counsel thing that just came out questioning Biden's capacity was an own goal. In a vain attempt to appear non-partisan, Biden's Attorney General tasked a Trump-appointed Republican to handle the investigation and that was the result.

I agree with all of that. But there wasn't And that's where we stand today. Unless something medical or something happens, the choice comes down to Biden vs Trump. Biden may indeed be senile, but compared to Trump, he's Einstein.
