Honestly, Hanifin has handled himself as an absolute professional. He’s shown up and played extremely well this season and quite frankly deserves every penny he is given. He has progressed nearly every year in Calgary and is second on the team in time on ice and leads the league in shifts.
He has every right to take his time with this decision and I believe him and the team have a mutual respect there to do this the right way.
I really don’t get all the malcontent here. Trust that there is ongoing dialogue between the two sides and Conroy will do the right thing if and when the time comes.
