So what about all the things in the universe that you cannot experience. Like the quantum or atomic world? Galaxies far away? Quasars and black holes? Do you believe in those?
That's one limitation of our minds that science overcomes. There are many things that are true that are not only beyond our experience, but likely behind our comprehension, but with science we can still "understand" them. By understand I mean have a set of rules, math, laws, whatever, that describe how things happen.
On the flip side, experience is subjective so it's not a good measurement of things that should and should not be believed. We experience the world around us as solid, but in reality it's empty space.
