As Markstrom ages out of his contract you adjust by giving him less starts until Wolf naturally takes over full time; you don't want to chuck Dustin into the deep end of the pool right away.
Like maybe 60-22, 55-27, 50-32... so after 3 seasons I feel it's fairly realistic to expect Wolf to at least be ready to accept a 1B role if not be the outright starter. Unless his projection tanks badly or something outside of hockey happens (like with Tyler Parsons).
