I really liked it when he had Eric Duhatschek on, so I was sad to see those go.
Tough out there for radio guys now, especially in a small market like Calgary. Thrilled to see Barnburner seemingly succeeding. Getting close to 10k subscribers on Youtube I think?

I think if you’re doing a podcast, you have to have a specific brand (?). Barn Burner is a Flames podcast so you can listen everyday and you know what you’re gonna get. Yeah they goof off a lot (which I like), but you know that you’re going to get mostly Flames content when you listen.
Kerr’s show didn’t have a “thing”. He was just rolling out a local sports radio show, but in podcast form. I really enjoyed when he’d have Maher or Duhatschek on. But some of the other guests he brought on, I had no interest in. Works for radio, don’t think it works for podcasts. Kind of a shame because hearing Kerr talk about the Flames brings me back to when I was a teenager listening to him on the Fan
