Conroy "cooks"...?
To FLA: Noah Hanifin (50% retained this year, FLA signs 8 year extension)
To CGY: Anton Lundell, Conditional 2025 3rd (becomes 2026 2nd if they win the Stanley Cup in 2024), 2025 4th
If the rumours are true of Florida's interest in Hanifin, and Calgary's interest in Lundell this seems like a pretty fair value - particularly for a team with Stanley Cup aspirations right now.
To DAL: Christopher Tanev (50% retained)
To CGY: 2024 1st, 2025 5th
Dallas is the one that steps up and pays the (Ben Chiarot) price.
If there is in fact an appetite to trade Necas, the "surprise" trade:
To CAR: Andrew Mangiapane, Jacob Markstrom (50% retained)
To CGY: Martin Necas, 2025 1st, 2024 2nd
1st round = the ~$6M retained on Markstrom.
Martin Necas >> Andrew Mangiapane
Markstrom >> 2nd
Carolina fixes their goaltending at the price point they generally seem to target, Calgary gets a player they've discussed in trades before, Mangiapane and Necas both get a change of scenery, and Markstrom goes to a "contender" that his best bud can tell him all about (...and then his best bud can sign back there this summer)
