Yeah, despite being Korean, I don't trust Samsung or LG appliances except maybe their washer/dryers (our LG set has been flawless the 14 years we've had it).
Just replaced our Wall oven and had a chance to purchase a brand new Samsung for almost half price, but decided to spend more on another brand to avoid headaches. Less bells and whistles, but more peace of mind.
