Tough to agree with Blaster, but reactionary does seem like the right term for this. The Jets have been patient in their team building, but like a lot of teams, as soon as the window looks open they lose all patience and make impulsive moves that they'll likely regret in the near future.

Have you seen their roster? They can't afford patience much longer. They have to pour gasoline on their current run. This roster is aging, but also just doesn't always gel consistently. This same team could easily look like last year's again next year. They have to push their chips in before they're into a retool.
