I know you're homerifically trying to justify the Lindholm trade, but Elias can have a season-ending injury in the all-star game and leave as a UFA at the end of the season never even playing a game for the Canucks. Also depends which Lindholm shows up for the Canucks.
I liked both Lindholm and Monahan as players, so I wish nothing but the best for each of them. You've been pretty vocal about Monahan the player today, maybe it's you that undervalues him?
